Richard L. Haworth

Richard L. Haworth, 82, Kokomo, passed away at 5:59 am Saturday, June 1, 2019, at North Woods Village in Kokomo.  He was born September 24, 1936, in Kokomo, the son of the late Thomas C. and Cecil (Conwell) Haworth. 

Richard worked for Wolf Insulation and Dan’s Variety Doughnuts for several years. 

Richard is survived by his children, Rick (Margaret) Haworth, Julia Haworth, Melissa Sterner, Thomas L. Haworth, and Rick Carpenter, along with several grandchildren.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Joanna Haworth; son, Larry Dean Haworth; grandson, Scott Nolan; and siblings, Bob Haworth, Chuck Haworth, Dan Haworth, Max Haworth, Tom Haworth, Norm Jarvis, Barb Able, Elizabeth Shepard, and Nancy Stalter.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, Russiaville, with Ken Spangler officiating.  Burial in North Union Cemetery will be at a later date.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5-6:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made in Richard’s memory to Stout & Son to assist the family with final expenses.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com.
