Patricia "Pat" (Ellis) Wood

Patricia “Pat” Wood (Ellis), 82, of Sharpsville, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020,  at home in the company of her family.  Pat was born December 31, 1937, to Lonzo and Vera (Arnett) Miller in Kokomo.  On March 28, 1959, she married J.G. Ellis who preceded her in death on January 27, 1982.

Pat was a graduate of Kokomo High School.  She retired from Delphi/Delco in 2006, after working there for over 30 years.  Pat was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a blessing to all who knew her.  She also loved to read, cook, and plant flowers. 

Pat is survived by her son Tony (Kathy) Ellis of Monticello; grandchildren, Todd Cottingham of Sharpsville, Dana (Jared) Stephenson of Walton, and Tom Ellis of Charlotte, NC; great-granddaughters, Kieran and Kinley Stephenson, and several step-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie; her parents; her husband; and her siblings, Helen, Bill, and Jack. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 16, 2020, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, Sharpsville Chapel, 204 N. Church Street, Sharpsville. Burial will follow in Sharpsville Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 11-1 pm Thursday at the funeral home.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com.
