Oswald Bracero, Jr.

Oswald Bracero, Jr., 45, Bringhurst, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019, at Community Howard Regional Health.  He was born March 22, 1974, in Brooklyn, New York, to Oswald and Margaret (Lopez) Bracero, Sr.

Oswald earned a bachelor’s degree in emergency management and served with the Army National Guard.

Survivors include his fiancé, Jami Hammer, of Bringhurst; mother, Margaret Bracero, of Tarpon Springs, Florida; brother, Gabriel (Robin) Bracero, of Lake Worth, Florida; and two nieces, Madison and Emily.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A memorial service will be held at Noon on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo, with military honors to be provided by the United States Army and the Kokomo VFW Military Rites Team.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 a.m. until Noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Contributions may be made in Oswald’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project or the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
