Mary Jane Pitner

Mary Jane Pitner, 77, Kokomo, passed away at 4:12 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne.  She was born January 27, 1942 in Happy Valley, TN to Alfred and Elizabeth (Payne) Debuty.

Known as “Mamaw” by many, Mary retired from Delphi and was a faithful member of Christian Heritage Worship Center in Kokomo. She loved to sew and will be remembered as a loving Mother and “Mamaw”.

She is survived by children, Donnie Pitner, Lisa Robins, and Mariecia Kirts; grandchildren, Colten Pitner, Clair Pitner, Conner Pitner, Jared Robins, James Robins, Jonathan and Cassidy Robins, Gavin Kirts, Garett Kirts, and Gavriel and Matt(Kirts) Vansickle; as well as great-grandchildren, Riley Pitner, Niah Robins, and Stetson Vansickle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Donna Pitner; granddaughter, Amber Nicole Pitner; and siblings, Kliness Debuty, Irene Smith, Margaret Pitner, and Bonnie Wolfenbarger.

Funeral services will be at Noon on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Christian Heritage Worship Center, 3007 East Carter St, Kokomo, with Devan Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00a.m. until Noon Thursday at the church.
