Mary Jo (Wheeler) Ogle

Mary Jo (Wheeler) Ogle, 85, Sharpsville, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at her home. She was born October 27, 1933, in Howard County to the late Manford and Josephine (Lee) Wheeler. On August 30, 1952, she married Norman Ogle, who preceded her in death on March 30, 2012. 

Mary Jo was a Forest High School graduate. Over her life, she did secretarial work and book keeping at various offices. Most recently, she retired from Steel Parts in Tipton. Mary loved playing the organ and piano. She was a member of Hemlock Friends Church and was apart of the Kokomo Music Club and Michiana Organ Club. 

Mary is survived by her sister, Vivian (William) Payne; several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by her step father, Theodore “Pete” George; sister, Betty Raney, and a great niece. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2019, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, Russiaville, with Pastor Jason Grant officiating. Burial will follow at Russiaville Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family 10-11 am at the funeral home Friday.
