Mary (Robey) Meador

Mary Meador, 91, Kokomo, passed away at 4:05 pm Friday November 29, 2019, at her home.  She was born July 27, 1928, in Howard County, the daughter of the late Arthur & Dora (Creason) Robey.  On April 30, 1954, she married Jack Meador who survives.

Mary was a homemaker, and a life-long seamstress where she worked for Bargain Center, Blocks, and Lazarus.  Mary was a member of New London Ladies Coffee Club, and Ram Rod Bowling League.

Along with her husband Jack, Mary is survived by her children, Vicki E. Ledbetter, Tim A. Meador, and Tom C. (Mary) Meador; grandchildren, Ryan D. Ledbetter, Courtney E. (Andrew) Jay, Andrew T. Meador, and Emily Meador (fiancé, Eric Ratcliffe); great-grandchildren, Audrey, Andrew, Sophia, Camron, And Alexis; sister, Betty Church; and sister-in-law, Judy Robey.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Clarence (Juanita) Robey, Harriett (Maurice) Taylor, Robert Robey, and Russell Robey.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, Russiaville, with Pastor Morgan Young officiating.  Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4-6 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com
