Louise May (Phillabaum) McCormick

Louise May McCormick, 96, Russiaville, passed away at 9:04 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at her home.  She was born, on January 25, 1923, to Henry Otto and Catherine Lenora (Crousore) Phillabaum.  On March 7, 1942, she married Howard G. McCormick, and he preceded her in death on February 19, 2004.

Louise had worked for Delco Electronics and Cuneo Press.  She was a member of Grace Brethren Church.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Jennifer Kelley, David Ruebush, Matt (Peggy) Ruebush and Michael McCormick; great-grandchildren, Brett Fivecoate, adopted great-grandson and caregiver, Eric Savoie, Blake Fivecoate, James Paul Horn, Terra Ruebush, Devon Rhinebarger, Derek Ruebush, Greg Ruebush, Sabrina Ruebush, Maggie Mae Ruebush, Aidan McCormick and Ella McCormick; sister, Annabelle Zirkle; and brother, Paul (Linda) Phillabaum.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronald McCormick; daughter, Chiquita Collins; two brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Pastor James Murdock officiating.  Burial will follow in Twin Springs Cemetery.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Contributions may be made in Louise’s memory to We Care.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com.
