Lorilie Lee Atkins, 58, Kokomo, passed away at 9:50 pm Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at her home. She was born May 30, 1960, in Kokomo, the daughter of James & Joyce (Beheler) Carpenter. On September 10, 1988, she married James “Bob” Atkins Jr., who survives.

Lorilie had worked for Millbank’s and for Waste Management Recycling District. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, along with cookouts with family and friends.

Along with her husband Bob, Lorilie is also survived by her son, James Atkins III; daughter, Christina Carpenter; grandchildren, Chereese Carpenter, Darrion Shack, Braylon Stiles, and Cheyenne Atkins; including several brothers, sisters, step-brothers, and step-sisters.

Lorilie was preceded in death by her parents; her 1 brother; and her 2 sisters.
