Linda Byrum Obituary

Linda Ruth Byrum, 77, of Russiaville, went to be with the Lord at 10:54 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at Community Howard Regional Health.  She was born October 29, 1941, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, to Rolvey Eldon and Margaret Ruth (Free) Harvey.  On March 12, 1960, she married M. Edward Byrum, and he survives.

Linda graduated from Burlington High School in 1959.  She had worked as a Mary Kay representative and also as a jewelry merchandiser.  Linda never missed an opportunity to share her faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  She also enjoyed playing the harmonica, singing, painting, line dancing and golfing.  She was a member of Crossroads Community Christian Church in Bringhurst, Carroll County, Indiana.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Carmen Jane (Ted) Martin and Lori Lynn (Steve) Ault; grandchildren, Stephen Lake Edward (Eden) Martin, Ted Roland Edward Martin and Journey Michael Ault; sisters, Faye (Dave) McLaren and Donna Marie (Fred) Sabens; sisters-in-law, Theresa Harvey and Marianne Smith; brothers-in-law, Mike Jarvis, Jim (Ann) Byrum, Richard (Joyce) Byrum and John (Gail) Byrum; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ronnie Harvey; and a sister-in-law, Sandra Jarvis.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2019, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Pastor Dan Butcher officiating.  Burial will follow at South Union Cemetery.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.  Contributions may be made in Linda’s memory to the Kokomo Rescue Mission.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com.
