Lecta "Becky" (Coldiron) Davis

Lecta “Becky” (Coldiron) Davis, 72, Kokomo, passed away at 8:30 am Saturday, June 30, 2018, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.  She was born March 19, 1946, in Powell County, KY, the daughter of the late Troy Lee & Mila Marie (Starnes) Coldiron. 

Becky was a lifelong CNA and was very dedicated to both her patients and her co-workers.  She had a strong family bond and was known as everyone’s Mom and Grandma.  Becky loved reading, adult coloring books, and especially spending time with her family.

Becky is survived by her children, George Jr (Angela) Hershey, Thomas (Dianna) Hershey, Donald (Denelle) Hershey, and Angela (Daniel) Sommer, along with 14 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Wanda Hollon, Rick (Sandy) Coldiron, Betty Coldiron, Sandra (Brookes) Longfield, Edna (Jeff) Hileman, Ruth Coldiron, and Calvin (Rhonda) Coldiron.

The family would like to give a special thank you to St. Vincent Hospice and nurse Mindy Halupa RN, for the care given to Becky and her family. 

Becky was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters; and 1 brother.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, July 6, 2018, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 West Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Steve Cole officiating.  Cremation will follow service.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3-6 pm Friday at the funeral home.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
