Kelly Ann (Ruman) Pauley

Kelly Ann “Grammoo” Pauley, 56, Kokomo, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo surrounded by her children.  She was born April 2, 1963, the daughter of Jan (Sayre) Ruman.

Kelly was a 1981 graduate of Griffith High School and a 1996 graduate of Don Roberts Beauty School where she earned her Cosmetology License.  She worked as a teacher’s aide for Maple Crest School and as a paraprofessional for Bona Vista.  Kelly had recently started attending Fuel Church and even though she love it, she had decided that she would also like to start going back to Grace Fellowship because she missed her old Pastor Ray Tetrault and that’s where she was comfortable.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching game shows.  Kelly also enjoyed going to the movies with her friend Brenda Nottingham and getting together for family cook outs.  She battle a lot of illness throughout her life and she fought as long as she could. 

Kelly is survived by her children, Kristen Nottingham, Kodie (Jesse) Ward, Kollin Nottingham, and Kyle Nottingham; grandchildren, Tyler, Joshua Jr., Jayden, Mylee, Nicholas Jr., Liem, Oliver, Adrian, Kameron, Kylah, Kaden, Kohen, and Krew; siblings, Shari Marsh, and Donald Ruman.

Kelly was preceded in death by her mother, Jan.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Grace Fellowship, 1912 S. Elizabeth Street, Kokomo, with Pastor Ray Tetrault officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made in Kelly’s memory to the family to help purchase a headstone.  Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
