Jeffrey A. Patchett

Jeffrey A. Patchett, 61, Rochester, passed away at 9:40 p.m., on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at his home. He was born June 16, 1957 to the late Charles and Ruth (Flick) Patchett in Kokomo. On May 17, 1995, he married Deborah (McGraw) Patchett, and she survives.

Jeffrey was a graduate of Western High School. He was a union carpenter for Hayes Brothers Construction. Jeffrey was a member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church where he served as a lay leader and loved to share his love of his Lord with everyone. He loved his family with all his heart. All of Jeff’s friends held a special place in his heart. Jeff enjoyed hunting, camping, canoeing, along with any outdoor adventure.

In addition to his wife Deborah, Jeffrey is survived by his daughter, Christy (Glenn) Talbot; grandchildren, Sophia & Robert Jr. Hood; stepdaughter, Randi Robinson, sisters; Ruthann Collins, Jeannie Downs; along with several nieces and nephews in whom he took great pride.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Charles Patchett and David Gentry.

A celebration of life will be held at noon on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Poplar Grove United Methodist Church, 4986 N. 1150 W. Kokomo,IN, with Pastor John Newman officiating. Friends are invited to visit from 10 a.m. until noon, two hours prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to Poplar Grove United Methodist Church.
