James L. "Jim" Edwards Obituary

James L. “Jim” Edwards, 66, Russiaville, passed away at 3:19 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at his home. He was born February 17, 1952, in Kokomo, to Eirmal and Margarette (Daughty) Edwards.

Jim graduated from Shoals High School and went on to work for Delco Electronics from 1982 until his retirement in 2007. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, Sr., Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and Jeff Gordon.

He is survived by his daughter, Kassie L. Stone; son, James N. Edwards; grandchildren, Austin Edwards and Allison Edwards; great-grandson, Tristin Watson; brother, Roy “Chuck” Edwards; and sister, Jackie Plank.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, George William “Bill” Edwards; and sister, Mildred “Susie” Brumley.

In keeping with Jim’s wishes, there will be no services. Cremation has been entrusted to Stout & Son Funeral Home, Russiaville. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com.
