Hugh "Kyle" Ramsey

Hugh “Kyle” Ramsey, 81, Kokomo, passed away at 1:35 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018, at his home.  He was born April 15, 1937, in Hancock County, Tennessee, to Thomas C. and Eunice L. (Greer) Ramsey.  On June 24, 1955, he married Margie Anderson, and she survives.

Kyle was raised in Jonesville, Virginia, and in May of 1961, he and Margie moved to Indiana where he worked as a farmer.

In addition to his wife, Margie Ramsey, he is survived by his children, Wayne (Kelly) Ramsey, Steve (Rhonda) Ramsey and Karen Johnson; four grandchildren, Tony Ramsey, Brandon Ramsey, Savannah (Robert) Skeens and Montana (Kyle) Peterson; three great-grandchildren, Ethan Skeens, Alyssa Peterson and Chase Kyle Peterson; and many special friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo, with Pastor Cliff Kelly officiating.  Burial will follow in Sharpsville Cemetery.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
