Hedwig “Teddy” Fultz, 74, Kokomo, passed away at 12:25 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Northwoods Village, Kokomo. She was born August 16, 1944 in Bruck, West Germany to Johann and Rosa (Groth) Engelhardt. She married Vernon Wagner in 1962 and he preceded her in death in 1973. On April 27, 1974 she married Raymond Fultz who preceded her in death on July 16, 1988.
Teddy was a homemaker who will be remembered for her excellent cooking. She enjoyed birdwatching and feeding squirrels. Teddy worked for Heilig-Meyers Furniture in Kokomo and Ramada Inn in Brown County, IN in housekeeping. She was also an active member of VFW Post 1152 since 1997.
She is survived by her companion of many years, Paul Harmon; daughters, Cheryl (Mike) Denney and Melisa (Gordon) Steuver; grandchildren, Amber (Riley) Jackson, Aaron (Brandi) Denney, Jacob Steuver and fiancé, Brittany Weigel, and Allee Denney; great-grandchildren, Carson Craig and Lee Denney; brother, Erich Engelhardt; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Vernon Wagner and Raymond Fultz.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 West Lincoln Road. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Denver, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospice, Kokomo or Kokomo VFW Post 1152.
