Gregory Allen "Greg" Godwin

Gregory Allen “Greg” Godwin, 59, Peru, passed away at 12:09 pm Tuesday October 29, 2019.  He was born July 8, 1960, in Peru, the son of Ronald L. & Lorrita D. (Bowen) Godwin. 

Greg was a graduate of Peru High School and ITT Technical Institute.  He worked for Deem for the last 4 years.  He also worked for Edwards Electrical and Mechanical and HC Climate Control.  Greg enjoyed attending church, camping, and Hot Rods.

Greg is survived by his mother, Lorrita Godwin; children, Christopher (Bethany) Taylor, Alex Godwin, Stephanie (Henry) Knotts, and Scott Godwin; grandchildren, T yler Godwin, Colin Taylor, Chase Taylor, Chance Taylor, Olivia Profitt, and Lily Profitt; sisters, Gwyn Armstrong, and Gail Nordenbrock; and companion, Teresa Malott.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Godwin.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Jason Wall officiating.  Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11-1 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.   Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
