G. Christine "Chris" Brannon Obituary

G. Christine “Chris” (Glover) Brannon, 70, Kokomo, passed away at 4:40 a.m. on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at Golden Living Center in Kokomo.  She was born August 4, 1948, in Kokomo, to Albert and Bettie (Evans) Glover.

Chris graduated from Western High School in 1966 and was the owner of Total Convenience Store in Sharpsville for over 20 years.  She enjoyed spending time with her beautiful grandchildren and her girlfriends and close friends and was very talented in stepping stone art work and stained glass.  Although she was not affiliated with a church, Chris had a very close relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Survivors include her mother; daughters, Kristy Kanable and Jamie (Jay) Francis; grandchildren, Kylie (Corban) Fiscus, Jake Wiechmann, Jenna Wiechmann and Drake Francis; great-grandchildren, Rilynn and Cade Fiscus; and sister, Sheena (Duane) Smith.

She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Rick Glover.

The family would like to express their love and appreciation to Chris’ special friends, Joann Marvel and Lynn Roberts.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019, at Rodgers Pavilion in Highland Park, with Lynn Roberts officiating.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3 p.m. until the service begins on Monday.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Chris’ name to the American Cancer Society, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation or the Kokomo Humane Society.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
