Fran D. McNulty, 88, Kokomo, passed away at 9:49 a.m. on Monday, August 19, 2019, at The Legacy at Waterford, in Kokomo. She was born December 2, 1930, in Walton, to Keith and Hope (Dutchess) Hyman. On March 8, 1952, she married Carl McNulty, in Walton, and he survives.
Fran graduated from Walton High School in 1949. She attended Purdue University and graduated from Valparaiso University in 1962. She earned her master’s degree from Butler University in 1967 and went on to work for Kokomo Schools where she was a long time kindergarten teacher. Fran enjoyed reading, music, dancing and traveling. She also loved attending plays in New York City, going to Lake Shaffer and Indiana Beach, and later in life, spending winters in Naples, Florida.
In addition to her husband of 67 years, she is survived by her children, Brad (Lissa) McNulty, Indianapolis, Stan (Sandy) McNulty, Kokomo, Holly (Paul) Schneider, Carmel, and Barry (Ann) McNulty, Noblesville; grandchildren, Matt McNulty, Eric Schneider, Clayton McNulty, Zachary McNulty, Lynn Schneider McGill, Daniel McNulty, Brooke McNulty and Karl Schneider; and three great-grandchildren.
