Darrell Leslie Brown, Jr., 36, Kokomo, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Howard Regional Health in Kokomo. He was born November 16, 1982, in Kokomo, to Darrell Leslie and Linda (Heath) Spry.
Darrell attended Kokomo High School. He enjoyed fishing, working on mopeds, spending time with his nieces and nephews, listening to gospel music and attending church at Abundant Life.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Linda Spry; sister, Arin Porter; brothers, Jerald Lee Pearson, Michael Allen (Karla) Pearson and Randall Scott Spry; daughter, Kierra Walker-Brown; nieces, Lorene Pearson, Chanta Eades, Tialexis Moneymaker, Savannah Pearson and Kayla Mullins; nephews, Jayden Pearson, Michael Pearson, Jr., Kaden Pearson, Jerald Harts, Ashtyn Harts and Randall Scott Spry, Jr.; and niece, Riley Spry.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents; several aunts and uncles; several cousins; and a nephew, Zairemy Bell.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2019, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, Jefferson Street Chapel, 414 W. Jefferson St., Kokomo, with Pastor Toph Elkins officiating. Burial will take place in Crown Point Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
