Cheryl Pyke Obituary

Cheryl A. Pyke of Kokomo passed away Monday evening, May 6, 2019. She was born on July 7, 1944 in Seymour, Indiana to Ted and Martha (Lindsey) Nicholls. On August 30,1969, Cheryl married Jim Pyke, who survives.


Cheryl worked for nearly 20 years at Kokomo’s Union Bank in the Trust Department. She was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church of Kokomo. Cheryl enjoyed gardening and always had the most beautiful flowers. She also loved to bowl, play cards, and was a talented artist with needle and thread, making several quilts and doing embroidery.


Survivors include her husband Jim Pyke of Kokomo; two daughters, Leslie Oden of Greenfield and Lauren Robling of Lafayette; four grandchildren, AJ Oden, Kyle Oden, CJ Robling, Kyeli Robling; cousin Pam Masters of Charlotte, North Carolina, and numerous close friends, who will remember her as a loyal and generous person. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.


Friends may join the family for a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 5 to 7 pm at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory,1315 W.
