Catherine W. Miller

Catherine W. Miller, 71, Kokomo, passed away at 8:43 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Community Howard Regional Health, Kokomo. She was born January 4, 1948 in Kokomo and was the daughter of James and Dorothy (Jones) Dotterer. On January 26, 1972 she married Jack D. Miller who preceded her in death on January 15, 2001.

Catherine worked as a beautician and enjoyed being a member of the Eagles, FOP, and the VFW where she served in different capacities. She also enjoyed cooking, crafting, playing cards, and spending time with her family. Catherine was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

She is survived by her brothers, William Dotterer, James (Nora) Dotterer, and Jeff (Becky) Dotterer; special niece, Stephanie (Dustin) Gingerich; step-son, Rick (Barb) Miller, step-daughters, Ranae (Edward) Iseminger, Roberta (Dawn) Miller, and Reesa (Dan) Flora; eight step-grandchildren, 13 Step-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Evelyn Gabbard.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, Jefferson Street Chapel, 414 West Jefferson Street with Pastor Steve Sherwood officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
