Carole L. (Baumbach) Tributsch

Carole L. Tributsch, 92, Kokomo, passed away at 12:28 pm Monday, September 9, 2019, at Wellbrooke of Kokomo.  She was born December 18, 1926, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of John & Elsie (Dittmore) Baumbach. On April 23, 1965, she married Joseph C. Tributsch who preceded her in death August 2, 2014. 

Carol was a graduate of Bay View High School in Milwaukee.  She graduated from Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing with a bachelor’s degree and went on to receive her master’s degree in Nursing from Marquette University in Milwaukee.  Carol served as head nurse for Deaconess Hospital retiring in 1965.  She was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Kokomo.

Carole is survived by her niece, Gayle Pierce; along with many friends.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a sister.

Funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Thursday, September 12, 2019, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Paula Shrock officiating.  Burial will be held at 1:00 pm CDT, Monday in Pine Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3-4 pm Thursday at the funeral home.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
