Carol A. (Wright) Stahl

Carol A. Stahl, 78, of Kokomo, formerly of Forest, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Bloom of Kokomo.  She was born December 24, 1940, in Ohio, to Bernard and Nellie Wright.  On June 4, 1960, she married Willard E. “Junior” Stahl, and he preceded her in death on January 24, 2003.

Carol graduated from Western High School and was a devoted farmwife.  She enjoyed visiting with friends and family. She was a devoted caregiver to many over her life time and was an active member of Center Road Church of Christ. Carol was best known for her hugs. She would always leave you with a hug whether you were family or just met. She never knew a stranger.

Survivors include two sons, Tim (Marcy) Stahl and Tom (Becky) Stahl; 7 grandchildren, Valerie (Jeremy) Gibson, Natalie Bowman, Erick (Alyssa) Stahl, Jason Stahl, Teesha Stahl, Samuel Stahl, and Catherine Stahl ;  17 great-grandchildren, Preston, Madisyn, Tyler, Blaine, Rhiana, Emma, Ethan, Emry, Easton, James, Nephi, Summer, Sandra, Adam, Adalynn-Jayd, Xandie, Emilie; brother, Kenny (Pam) Wright; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; son, Christopher Stahl; and brothers, Denny Wright and Larry Wright.

Funeral services for Carol will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Pastor Micah Powless officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday October 21, 2019, at the funeral home.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com.
