Candy Gaby Obituary

 

Candy Gaby, 72, Kokomo, passed away at 3:42 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019, at Waterford Place Health Campus in Kokomo.  She was born October 16, 1947, in Kokomo, to Jack and Marilyn (Nutt) Morgan.  On July 7, 1984, she married Ronald W. Gaby, in Burlington, and he preceded her in death on September 16, 2007. 

Candy graduated from Kokomo High School.  She retired from Delco Electronics and was also the manager of North-N-Tavern.  She enjoyed fishing at Lake Shafer and cherished spending time with family and friends. 

Survivors include her mother, Marilyn “Poppy” Morgan; her first husband, Harry R. Fivecoate; sons, Todd (Heather) Fivecoate and Michael Haynes; step-daughters, Carmen (Jason) Walencik and Ronda (Kevin) Lier; brother, Jack “Butch” (Sharon) Morgan; and grandchildren, Jack Fivecoate, Ashley Fortune, Morgan Fivecoate, Mara Fivecoate, Bethany Lier and Amelia Lier. 

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father; son, Troy Fivecoate; and sister, Vickie Haynes. 

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo, with Pastor Bobby Estel officiating.  Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 9 a.m. until Noon on Saturday at the funeral home.  Contributions may be made in Candy’s memory to the American Cancer Society.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
