Brenda C. (Roddy) Stevens

Brenda C. Stevens, 67, Kokomo, passed away at 8:30 pm Friday, January 17, 2020, at her home.  She was born June 8, 1952, in Indianapolis, the daughter of the late Louis Mack & Barbara (Mobley) Roddy.

Brenda retired as an LPN July 29, 2016 after 31 years of service.  She had also worked as a CNA for 10 years.  Brenda was a loving grandmother.

Brenda is survived by her son, Dustin Stevens; grandchildren, Austin Chorrushi, Brielle Stevens, Paisley Stevens, and Zion Weller; great-granddaughter, Lyla Chorrushi; sister, Teresa Helphenstine; niece, Angie Brown; and nephew, Buddy Brown.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Marita J. Taylor.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Gospel Light Mission Church, 1407 Belmont Ave, Kokomo, with Pastor Terry Russell officiating.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11-1 pm Saturday at the church.   Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
