Betty Maxine Moser, 93, Kokomo, passed away at 2:40 p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2019, at Waterford Place Health Campus in Kokomo. She was born February 15, 1925, in Kokomo, to Landis and Thelma (Shrock) Hunt. On August 27, 1945, she married Peter W. Moser, Jr., at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kokomo, and he preceded her in death on January 28, 2008.
Betty graduated from Kokomo High School and worked from 1964 to 2005 as the head cook at Sycamore Elementary School in Kokomo. She enjoyed quilting and gardening and was a member of the Red Hat Society, DFI, the Rosary Society and St. Patrick Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Mark W. Moser and Michael K. (Judy) Moser; daughter, Nancy A. Ladd; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; and half-brothers, Don Hunt, and Joe Hunt.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren, Matthew Moser and Meghan Smith; half-sister, Marilyn Hunt; and half-brother, Dan Hunt.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Noon on Friday, February 15, 2019, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1229 N. Washington St., Kokomo, with Rev. Fr. Brian Dudzinski the celebrant. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:30 a.m. until Noon on Friday at the church.
