Benjamin Robert Stine

Benjamin Robert Stine, 50, Kokomo, passed away at 10:30 pm Sunday March 3, 2019, at his home.  He was born August 3, 1968, in Kokomo, the son of Jeffery R. Stine and Pamela E. (Bugg) Goodman. 

Benjamin was a 1986 graduate of Western High School, and received his associate’s degree from Indiana University at Kokomo.   He was formerly employed with Chrysler Corp.  Benjamin enjoyed music, and had recorded several songs.  He loved playing his guitar for the First Church of the Nazarene for 2-3 years.   Benjamin looked forward to spending time with his boys, and watching sports including the NFL, MLB, and the NBA.   He was voted class clown in high school.

Benjamin is survived by his sons, Solomon Stine, and Simon Stine; father, Jeff (Marla) Stine; mother Pam (Rod) Goodman; siblings, John (Traci) Stine, and Kim (Bob) Hicks, along with several nieces and nephews.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his brother, Rob Floyd.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 West Lincoln Road, Kokomo with Bob Hicks officiating.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12-2 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
