Anthony “Tony” Wayne Sefton, of Kokomo, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 9, 2019. He was born on January 22, 1976, the son of Wesley and Kathy (Carter) Sefton.
His life was too short. He lived a life full of deep love for his family, friends, & God and had a passion for knowledge. In fact, his wife often checked Tony before she would check Google. We are gripped with a range of emotions over the loss of someone so gifted, talented, loving and special. Spending time with his family and friends was everything to him. Anyone who knew him, knew his girls were the love of his life. He loved playing his guitars, fishing, and unpredictable cross-country road trips.
Tony will be sorely missed by his parents; his loving wife, LeAnn (DeLano) Sefton, his daughters, Taylor & Skylor Sefton; one brother, Wesley Matthew (Amber) Sefton; niece, Olivia Sefton and nephew Carter Sefton, his grandmother, Katherine Smith; aunts & uncles – Wayne (Beth) Carter, Mark Carter, Cindy (Rick) Miller, Stanley Carter, Shawn (Heather) Carter, & cousins.
He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, William Carter, Ferdinand W. & Elisa F. Sefton, and Martin Smith.
Services celebrating Tony’s life will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15th at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home &Crematory, 1315 West Lincoln Road, with Pastor Charlie Riley officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4pm to 8pm, Thursday at the funeral home. Messages of condolence may be left at www.shirleyandstout.com.
