Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Boyd

Elizabeth Jane “Betty” Boyd, 97, of Kokomo, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Waterford Place Health System. She was born April 15, 1927, in Poseyville, to Gottlieb and Mary (Dawson) Wolf, Jr. On November 30, 1943, she married Norman L. Boyd, in Evansville, and he preceded her in death on January 9, 1998.

Betty graduated from Bosie High School in Evansville. She worked for Joy Ann Bakery for 20 years before retiring and also enjoyed babysitting. She and Norman loved going fishing and camping. She was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church.

Survivors include her sons, Robert (Jeannie) Boyd and William (Beth) Boyd; grandchildren, Brett Boyd, Thomas Smith, Kim Robinson, and Allison Turner; fourteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert and Charles Wolf.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Sunset Memory Cemetery, 2097 W. Alto Rd., Kokomo, with her grandson, Brett Boyd, officiating.
