Evan Graham Walker, 18, Greentown, died at 3:18 p.m., Friday, July 23, 2010, in Greentown.
He was born Dec. 12, 1991, in Carson City, Nev., to his parents, Philip Walker and Christi (Evans) Kanable.
Evan was a student at Eastern High School and was actively involved in the American Diabetes Association.
Survivors include his mother, Christi Kanable, Greentown; stepfather, Ron Kanable, Greentown; sister, Riley Kanable; grandparents, Lowell and Dianna Evans, Russiaville; Sona Camp and Stan Johnson, Greentown, Graham and Patricia Walker, England; and Vicki Kanable, Kokomo; great-grandparent, Emogene Richey, Greentown; aunts and uncles, Gary and Leslie Rhinebarger, Forest; Lowell and Bobbie Evans, Kokomo; Misty and Shane Fawbush, Kokomo; Brad and Danielle Rush, Greentown; David and Maren Evans, Russiaville; Rick Kanable, Kokomo; Jonna Kanable, Atlanta, Ga.; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather.
Services are 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Hasler and Stout Funeral Home 112 E. Main St., Greentown. Officiant will be Thelma Corbett. Burial is at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Greentown following the service. Calling hours are 2 are 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to Project Access with envelopes available at the funeral home.
