Truman Cook, 82, Kokomo, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Sterling House, Kokomo. He was born June 27, 1928, in Clarkton, Mo., to Willard and Clora Bell (Thurmon) Cook. He married Martha (Copp) Cook and she preceded him death on April 12, 2005. Truman retired from Haynes International in 1986 after 33 years of service. He was a member of Greentown Wesleyan Church in
Greentown.

He is survived by sons, Kyle Cook, Greentown, Dan and Crissie Cook, Greentown, Randy and Kim Cook, Peru, and Gary and Doris Cook, Florida; daughters, Susan and Doug Gray, Greenfield, Renee and Jerry Walker, California, and Waneta and Melvin Key, Tipton;
son-in-law, Eiji Uyehara, California; brothers, Donald and Sarah Cook, Frankton, Earl and Marge Cook, Texas, Calvin and Sharon Cook, Florida, Bob and Pat Cook, Tipton, and Herman Cook, Sharpsville; sisters, Geneva and Donnie Fennell, Tipton, and Violet Lewis, Kokomo; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Danette Uyehara; sister-in-law, Debbie Cook; and one great-grandchild.

Services are 4 p.m. Saturday at Greentown Wesleyan Church 120 N. Maple St., Greentown, with Pastor Paul Boss officiating. Friends may
call from 2 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the church.
