Shawna Renee Noble, 18, died at 12:30 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2010, in the emergency room at St. Joseph Hospital.

She was born May 4, 1991, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Jon P. and Tammy L. (Lamberson) Noble.

Fighting and struggling with many surgeries and procedures accompanied with cerebral palsy, Shawna lived most of her life at home surrounded by those who loved her and by professionals who provided extra special care. She loved keeping us on our toes, wrestling with us and then laughing about it. She enjoyed listening to music, especially country, and watching movies on her DVD player. She especially enjoyed her “Fraggle Rock” DVDs. She was loved by many people, and her smile would make our day. When she laughed, we cried with joy, and when she cried, we cried with her. She was a true fighter, braving all the elements in her life. She was our shining light and our angel on earth, and will forever be missed.

She is survived by her mother and father; two brothers, Jonathan Noble and Jacob Noble, all of Kokomo; one sister, Sally Alexandria Livingston, California; grandfather, John H. Carver; uncle and aunt, Doug and Debbie Rosenbush, all of Bringhurst; and aunt, Michal D. Noble, Kokomo. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Janice Holt and Ellen Carver; and grandfather, Cecil D. Lamberson.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2010, at Shirley and Stout Funeral Home, Jefferson Street Chapel, 414 W. Jefferson St. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until service time.
