“Phizz” was a good friend and a wonderful neighbor when we lived across the street. She was very generous and would do anything to help a friend. It was always fun to spend time with her. Our condolences to Ricke and the family. We cherish the memories of good times spent with the Stuckers.

I was blessed to know Phyllis as a friend and fellow traveler. Her laughter and positive attitude were an added blessing to every trip she took with our travel club. She will be missed and I am thankful for the beautiful memories I have of her. She always called me "Kid" when she saw me, and I will miss that.
See you in heaven some day Phizz! With love, the Kid

I was fortunate to know this woman for the latter part of her years ... as I was a member of South Side Christian Church. She always seemed ... upright ... confident in her convictions ... and dedicated to her faith. Willing to compromise ... but steadfast in her manner. The kind of person you look up to as a role model for those around her ... especially the young people she touched. I'm glad I had a chance to know her in my life. There is a book ... written somewhere in a language we do not understand ... and her name is written in a chapter therein. May she rest in peace.

Dear Family,

I am just learning of Phyllis’ passing, and am so saddened! I have some wonderful memories of her that go back many years. She was one of the kindest, caring people I know. Sorry to be so tardy, but my condolences are just as sincere.
