Caleb graduated from Carroll High School in 2000 and earned his associates degree in biblical studies from Johnson Bible College.  He was an entrepreneur and owner/operator of Joyner Construction who enjoyed woodworking and was a true craftsman. Caleb was adventurous and had a love of the outdoors.  He enjoyed shooting sports, hunting, fishing at Eagle Lake in Canada and had achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts. Caleb was an organ donor and was able to save five lives with the donation of his organs.  More than anything else, he cherished spending time with his children.

Survivors include his fiancé, Katie Lechner; children, Eden, Adaleigh, Gavin, and August Joyner; parents, Ken and Mary Joyner; siblings, Jon (Robyn) Joyner and Kirk Joyner; grandmother, JoAnn Taylor; several aunts and uncles; and a host of cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Joseph Ewing, Mary Lou Gordon and Glen Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 16, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1967 W. Boulevard St., Kokomo, with Pastor Butch Hart officiating.  Burial will follow in Ball Hill Cemetery.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. My deepest sympathy and condolences.

Let His Love overtake you
Caleb is Home
That overwhelming joy that Jesus gives
he is in that fullness now

The brokenness that surrounds
Is not greater then His power
His love
His amazing healing touch

Our God heals in ways we don't understand
Even through the many pieces we have become
In our moments of despair

Hear Him
Our God is calling
Calling to bring completeness in the lives affected so deeply

Surround yourself in His presence
Praise His name for He is worthy
For comfort and peace that will bring to your souls
