Stephen Richard Miller, 71, Kokomo, passed away at 6:11 pm Sunday, October 8, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo.  He was born January 15, 1946, in Kokomo, the son of Robert A. & Rose M. (Richards) Miller.  On September 14, 2013, he married Linda L. Albaugh-Broberg and she survives.

Stephen was a 1965 graduate of Kokomo High School.  He retired in 1995 from General Motors after 30 years of service.  Stephen was a member of Bon Air Church of the Nazarene, and UAW Local #292.  He was a big Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  He was also an avid daily reader of Stephen King and James Patterson and a collector of Coca-Cola and Chicago Cubs memorabilia.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Linda L. Albaugh-Broberg, Kokomo; siblings, Cathy (Stephen) Irick, Kokomo, Cheryl (Robert) Parks, Kokomo, and Jim (Deborah Butler-Miller) Miller, Tully, NY, along with several nieces and nephews. 

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Karen.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, October 13, 2017, at Bon Air Church of the Nazarene, 2419 N. Locke Street, Kokomo, with Pastor James Trippett officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11-1 pm Friday at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made in Stephen’s memory to Bon Air Church of the Nazarene.  Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
