Joyce Elaine (Webster) Sunday, 74, Kokomo, passed away at 2:35 pm on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo.  She was born May 1, 1942, in Sturgis, Michigan, the daughter of the late Thomas & Virginia (Klinger) Webster. 

Joyce was a 1960 graduate of Sturgis High School in Sturgis, MI.  She then went on to earn her Registered Nursing degree from Holy Cross Central School of Nursing.  Joyce took her first job as a surgical nurse at St. Joseph Hospital where she stayed for 16 years.  She then accepted a position as a registered nurse in the Genesis Unit of Howard Community Hospital, retiring from there after 28 years of service. 

Joyce lived her life taking care of others and loving every minute of it.  Aside from dedicating her life to her family, she was also willing to take in or help anyone else in need.  She enjoyed watching her favorite shows and loved visits from family and friends, including her OT therapists, Matt and Natalie. 

Joyce is survived by her children, James, Neil, Tanya Sunday, and Brad Smith; grandchildren, Jennifer, and Cory Landis, Nikita, Neil II & Jessica, Chyra, and Trinity Smith, and Natalie; great-grandchildren, Lillie, Brayden, Braxton, Gracie, and  Pheonix; niece, Ann Lapham; great-niece and nephew, Jeremy, and Courtney; extended family, Kim, Dawn, and Larry Brown.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, twin brother, Tom Webster, sister, Carol Lapham, niece, Karen Lapham, ex-husband, Don Sunday, and extended family member, Trent Brown. 

Funeral services for Joyce will be held at Noon, Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, Jefferson Street Chapel, 414 West Jefferson Street, Kokomo.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11:00 am until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
