Richard F. Kingery 85, of Frankfort, passed away at 11:07 PM Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Community Howard Regional Hospital in Kokomo. Richard was born October 27, 1931 in Tompkinsville, KY to the late Orville S. and Cretie M. Kingery. His marriage to Hazel M. Harness who survives was on December 17, 1966. He attended Rock Bridge Country School in Kentucky.

Richard founded Kingery & Sons Construction in 1965 and operated the business until he retired in 1997 at which time his son Richard took over control of the business that still operates today.  He was a life-long brick mason and a 65-year member of Brick Layers and Allied Craftworkers Local 4 Chapter 11.  He was a member of Burlington Faith Church of Christ, a member of the Russiaville Masonic Lodge F&AM #82, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, Murat Temple of Indianapolis, and Frankfort Moose.

Survivors include his wife Hazel Kingery, two sons; Richard K. Kingery (companion Krista Morris) of Frankfort, Gary A. Kingery (Joanna) of Brownsburg, a daughter, Tina S. Kimmel (Scott) of Frankfort, a brother Russel Kingery (Sandy) of Tipton, a sister, Dorothy (Barlow) Poindexter of Noblesville, fourteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Danny L. Kingery, three brothers, and four sisters.

Services will be at 11:00 am Friday, April 14, 2017 at Faith Church of Christ 1701 S. Michigan St. in Burlington, with Steve Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Burlington CemeteryFriends may visit with the family from 3pm – 8pm Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Stout & Son Funeral Home 200 E. Main Street in Russiaville. There will be a Masonic Service at 7:30pm Thursday, at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.stoutandson.com.
